National Garden Centre Chains Rip Off Everyone
“National” hot tubs concessions operated like the worst type of double glazing companies are popping up all around the country. Huge rents are being charged, typically £30,000 a year, along with 10% being taken by the garden centre operators, and guess who is paying for this, the mugs who buy from these types of companies, as they have to pass these high rents on, having to sell quite ordinary spas at very high prices. This is why so many importers selling direct through garden centres have gone bust.
You are always best going to a genuine local company operated by local people who have their costs under control and can really provide local service and after care. These companies sell the best brands as they have researched the market, and as it is their business only want to be offering the best.
Commission sales people in satellite branches only get paid if they sell, so will say anything to sell. They are like hired guns with no scruples, just working for the highest commission. They have no feeling or interest for the products they are selling and as sale people have little to do with you after the sale, so their promises count for nothing, regrettably many find this out too late, as these types are usually the “best” salespeople they are trained to mislead, confuse and get you to sign up !!!! The worst companies have no 14 day cool off period for a refundable deposit.
